Credits Usage
Q: Why does building and testing in the glif builder use up credits on my account?
A: Runs (images, audio, text) that you generate within the builder during glif building and testing are charged at the same rate as your public runs. This is because we incur the same costs on our end for all runs, regardless of where and how they are generated.
Q: Why does one run use multiple credits? And why did one of my runs use more credits than another?
A: The short version: More complex glifs use more credits than less complex glifs. βComplexityβ refers to a number of factors, including:
The underlying image, text, or audio model(s) used in the glif.
Some image generation models, such as Flux Pro, are more expensive to utilize vs. a less expensive model, such as Flux Schnell.
The number of glif blocks used within the glif.
The more models used by the glif, the more expensive it will be to run.
To learn more about the models used within the glif that youβre using, you can click on the three dots (β¦) and select View Source. This will allow you to see which glif blocks and models have been used.
Q: What happens if my run fails?
A: If your run fails, your credits will be refunded. If you do not believe you have the correct amount of credits remaining in your account, please reach out to contact@glif.xyz with your Glif account details.
Q: When does the daily run limit reset?
A: The daily run limit resets at midnight UTC time.
