βš’οΈHow do I build a workflow?

Become an AI wizard.

Create your own tiny AI media generator using our user-friendly yet powerful builder. Building a workflow is like playing with blocks as a kid. In our case, a block can be an input or an output. Each block works together with other blocks to generate your creative vision.

To build a glif:

  • Click on "Build" in the navigation at the top of glif.app.

  • Give your workflow a unique title and description.

    • A hashtag in your description will be converted to a link to that tag's page, e.g. #ControlNet.

  • Click the large "+" symbol in the workflow builder to add your first block. A block can be a user input, a prompt, a tool, or styling. Blocks work together to create and shape the final output of your workflow.

  • Use the testing area to the right of the builder to test and iterate on your workflow. Enter a value in the input field (if applicable) and click on "Run this workflow" to see the results.

  • Keep adding more blocks by clicking on the "+" symbol below or above your first block.

  • Once you're happy with your workflow's output, click on "Publish" at the top of the page. Be aware that, currently, all workflows are public by default.

Note: Workflows that you create are public by default and are visible in your profile.

Creating a workflow is an art, not a science. Let your imagination guide you and don’t be afraid to try out different image models, inputs, and advanced settings. If you have a very specific output in mind, it might require some experimenting and tweaking. We’re excited to see what you create!
