# Styles

A Style is a ready-made visual look. Apply one and every asset you make with it shares the same aesthetic, so a campaign of 50 ads looks like it came from one shoot. Glif has 100+ Styles, from studio photography and film looks to illustration, print, 3D and pixel art.

Browse them at [glif.app/styles](https://glif.app/styles).

## Why marketing teams use Styles

* **Campaign consistency:** one look across ads, carousels, banners and video frames
* **Faster art direction:** start from a proven look instead of describing it every time
* **Switch models without losing the look:** a Style isn't tied to one model
* **Fresh campaigns:** explore new looks for seasonal or product launches while keeping your brand kit

## What a Style includes

Each Style combines a tested prompt system, a color palette and a set of reference images. Every Style in the catalog shows example studies across people, places, objects and materials, so you can see how it'll handle your products and talent.

## Apply a Style

**From a chat**

1. Open the style picker in the composer.
2. Choose a Style.
3. Write your brief as usual.

**From the catalog**

Open a Style at [glif.app/styles](https://glif.app/styles) to see examples and start a chat with it.

**Not sure which to pick?** Use **Find my style** on the Styles page. Glif asks what you're making and the mood you want, then suggests options.

## Styles and your brand kit

A Style sets the visual look. Your brand kit in [Agent Memory](https://docs.glif.app/agent-memory.md) sets your colors, fonts, logo usage and tone. Use them together: "Use our brand kit and the Studio Lit Photography style."

To make a Style your house look, ask Glif to remember it: "Remember that our default style for product ads is Studio Lit Photography." Or build it into a brand [Skill](https://docs.glif.app/skills.md).

## Combine with other tools

* **Characters:** consistent talent in a consistent look. See [Characters](https://docs.glif.app/characters.md).
* **Products:** add product photos as references.
* **Series:** apply one Style to a whole set in one request.

* Use the exact catalog name of a Style.
* Apply one Style across a whole set in a single request.
* Style controls the look; brand rules (colors, fonts, logo, tone) come from user memory or a brand skill.
* Only Styles from the Glif catalog can be applied. Users can't train their own.
