# HTML Block

Use the HTML block to merge multiple outputs. This is a somewhat advanced block that requires [basic HTML knowledge](https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_basic.asp). It’s great for creating memes and comics.

There are three ways to leverage the HTML block for defining the layout of your workflow: templates, AI-generated HTML, or directly writing HTML.

#### Templates

Use one of our predefined templates to set up the layout of your output. You can later refine your output using HTML.&#x20;

#### AI-Generated HTML

Use the "Generate HTML" button to automatically generate HTML based on your description of the desired layout.&#x20;

**Tips:**

* Use a variable after “img src=” to display an image generated by another block.
  * For example, displaying images in a four-panel comic format looks like this:
