Credits come with a monthly subscription. Compare plans at glif.app/pricing. Every plan includes 100+ AI models and tools, full commercial rights, and you can cancel anytime.

Roughly how far a month of credits goes (actual use varies by model and settings):

Larger plans

Within Pro, we also offer higher monthly volumes: 30,000 (Pro XL), 60,000 (Pro 2XL) or 120,000 (Pro 3XL) credits per month. For more than that, choose Contact us for bigger plans or email sales@glif.xyz. For most marketing teams producing campaigns every month, Pro L or above is the practical starting point: it includes Glif Genius, full video and API automation. For enterprise pricing, email sales@glif.xyz.

Credit packs

For launches and busy months, add a one-time credit pack at glif.app/pricing/credit-packs. Packs require an active subscription.

Budget for a campaign

What drives cost:
  • Asset type: video generally costs much more than images.
  • Video length and resolution: longer and higher-resolution clips cost more.
  • Number of variations and takes
  • Intelligence tier: Lite is cheapest, then Flash, Smart and Genius.
Ways to keep costs predictable:
  • Draft first, finalize second. Generate lower-resolution drafts, pick winners, then upscale only those.
  • Batch your brief. Ask for a whole set in one request rather than one asset at a time.
  • Resize, don’t regenerate. Make one approved ad, then resize it to other placements.
  • Use a lower tier for simple edits and resizes.
  • Track spend per campaign by keeping each campaign in its own chat and turning on per-chat totals in Settings → Spending controls.

Free credits

New accounts get a one-time bonus of 50 credits, which expires. There are no daily free credits.

When credits expire

  • Subscription credits expire at the end of each billing period. They don’t roll over.
  • Credit pack credits expire six months after purchase.

Cost estimates and approvals

Before an expensive step, Glif shows an estimate and asks for approval if it’s over your spending limit. Estimates are set high on purpose, so the final cost is often lower. Adjust your limit in Settings → Spending controls.

Check your balance

Your balance appears at the bottom left of the app, under your username. See your full history in Settings → Usage.

Commercial use

Buying credits, through a subscription or a credit pack, gives you commercial usage rights to what you create, subject to the license of each underlying model. Before running assets in paid media, check your platform’s ad policies and any disclosure rules for AI-generated content in your markets.

Refunds

  • Failed runs: credits are refunded automatically.
  • Results you don’t like: not refunded. Creative output often takes a few rounds.
  • Something looks wrong: if your balance seems off, or the agent did something that cost credits without your approval, email contact@glif.xyz with your username and a screenshot of the chat.

Cancel your subscription

Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing. You keep your benefits until the end of the current billing period and won’t be charged again.

Agent Reference

Key values

Reference costs

For live figures, call whoami: it returns the typical credit cost of one image, video and audio output.

Estimating a batch

Before a large request, estimate: (number of outputs) × (typical cost per output from whoami), plus agent overhead for the tier. Share the estimate with the user and confirm before calling compose_project.

Spending rules

  • compose_project charges credits and starts immediately with no approval step. Confirm asset count, formats and video length with the user before each call.
  • Never re-run or retry a paid request automatically. Calling compose_project again while a job is working does not speed it up; in the same project it errors, and without project_id it starts a separate billable job.
  • Combine related outputs into one request.
  • Prefer resizing an approved asset over regenerating it for each placement.
  • Check whoami before large jobs.
  • If the balance is too low, tell the user. Don’t make purchases unless the user explicitly asks.
