βš’οΈHow do I build a glif?

Become an AI wizard.

Creating a glif is an art, not a science. Let your imagination guide you and don’t be afraid to try out different image models, inputs, and advanced settings. If you have a very specific output in mind, it might require some experimenting and tweaking. We’re excited to see what you create!

To build a glif:

  • Click on "Build" in the navigation at the top of glif.app.

  • Give your glif a unique title and description.

    • A hashtag in your description will be converted to a link to that tag's page, e.g. #ControlNet.

  • Click the large "+" symbol in the glif builder to add your first block. A block can be a user input, a prompt, a tool, or styling. Blocks work together to create and shape the final output of your glif.

  • Use the testing area to the right of the builder to test and iterate on your glif. Enter a value in the input field (if applicable) and click on "Glif it!" to see the results.

  • Keep adding more blocks by clicking on the "+" symbol below or above your first block.

  • Once you're happy with your glif's output, click on "Publish" at the top of the page. Be aware that, currently, all glifs are public by default.

Note: Glifs that you create are public by default and are visible in your profile.
